In September 2014, the Cap Moderne Association was charged by the Conservatoire du Littoral with the management and rehabilitation of the site.
To support its action and to raise the funds necessary for the restoration and development work, an Endowment Fund and a Foundation have been set up.
The restoration work on Villa E-1027, and on its furniture, has already mobilised investment worth over a million and a half euros. Additional private funding of some 2 million euros is now needed in order to finish off the restoration work, to go ahead with the purchase and conversion of the railway shed and Villa Giori, and to build the reception facilities, in addition to the estimated 1 million euros public funding we hope to receive.
The Endowment Fund (’Fonds de Dotation’) set up by Cap Moderne is open to all forms of private sponsorship, from either individuals or businesses, with generous tax-relief provisions for French income-tax payers.
Donations made to the Eileen Gray - Le Corbusier - Cap Martin Foundation, which is placed under the wing of the Bullukian Foundation, give tax relief to those who pay French wealth-tax (‘ISF’).
Deposit a cash donation or cheque in the box specially provided in the ticket office at Cap Moderne (white railway carriage), where a donation form is at your disposal.
Post a cheque to Cap Moderne made out to ”Fonds de dotation Eileen Gray - Le Corbusier »( for deductibility from French Income Tax), or to "Fondation Eileen Gray - Le Corbusier sous l’égide de la Fondation Bullukian " (if you are seeking relief from ISF).
A receipt/ tax certificate will be sent to you.
